Esri erweitert die Pflegezusage für die ArcGIS® for Desktop Version 10.2.1 durch folgende Mitteilung Jack Dangermonds
bis zum Jahre 2021:
I’m happy to announce that we will be extending support for ArcGIS® for Desktop 10.2.1 for an additional two years. This pushes the retirement date out to July 1, 2021. Extended support will continue through June 2019. Mature support will continue through June 2021. You will not see this change mentioned on the support site. It is specifically for utilities and telecoms. ArcGIS® for Desktop 10.2.1 is fully compatible with subsequent releases of ArcGIS® for Server and all of its extensions. You should continue to upgrade to the latest versions of Esri software except ArcGIS® for Desktop.
Dies untermauert die Versionsplanung der KANDIS Produktfamilie, die die weitere Unterstützung der ArcGIS® for Desktop Version 10.2.1 in künftigen Versionen garantiert und die Serverentwicklung auf neuesten ArcGIS® Versionen forciert.
